Help us take a bite out of Lyme and join the amazing party at Wayland Brewery!
Please join us on Sunday May 5 2024 at Wayland Brewery in Orchard Park for the 1st annual Lyme WNY 5K to support Lyme disease. The run/walk will be held at 9:30 a.m. We hope to bring awareness to the community over how to prevent tick bites as well as if you have Lyme disease what support sources you have locally. All proceeds go to Lyme WNY for a grant awarded to those in financial need of assistance with their Lyme treatment.

The race will start and finish at Wayland Brewery and the course is now USATF certified thanks to Jeff John at BuffaloRunners.com! CLICK HERE to view the course map. There will be one water stop located near the mid point and bottled water will be provided at the finish line.

REGISTRATION & PACKET PICKUP
Online registration will remain open right up until the start of the race. Packet pickup will take place at the brewery starting at 8am.
5K Run/Walk Registration
$30 / $35 after March 31st
*All participants who register by Thursday April 18th will be guaranteed to receive an official Lyme WNY 5K dry-fit shirt in their requested size! A small quantity of extra shirts will be ordered and distributed on a first come-first serve basis until they are gone.
EARLY PACKET PICKUP OPTION Participants will have the option of picking up their race packets on Saturday May 4th from 4-7pm at Walyand Brewery.

Lyme WNY will also be holding a silent auction inside of Wayland Brewery shortly after the post race ceremony.
Wayland Brewery will be donating $1.00 of every House Lager purchased on May 5th back to Lyme WNY!

There will be plenty of free parking at or near the start finish line location!
AGE GROUPS & AWARDS
The Overall Male and Female winners and the top Male and Female Masters will each receive themed prizes.
Awards will be given to the top 3 Males and Females in 5 year age-groups through 80+.

CANCELLATION POLICY
There will be no refunds. In the event of foul weather, public safety concerns, or for any other reason deemed necessary by race organizers (ex: state of emergency, etc), we reserve the right to postpone/reschedule the event at our discretion or offer a virtual alternative if necessary.
TIMING & FINISH LINE SERVICES
Professional timing and finish line services using industry leading Jaguar Electronic RFID timing will be provided by Race Management Solutions. Results are updated throughout the race in real time and can be accessed at any time after crossing the finish line using any one of the following options:
